Summary of Works
The redevelopment of Regents Circus involved the demolition of a disused college and the construction of various retail outlets, a multi-storey car park, cinema and public realm works. The works included various types of piling, steel and concrete frames with multi phased handovers for different units and public realm works.
Scope of Works
After being invited to tender through a recommendation, PP Construction secured the initial 180k enabling works Sub-Contract and then went on to secure the bulk excavations (500k), groundworks, (2.0M) and S278 works (1.3M). These works included removing over 80,000 tones of contaminated and inert material, 1.5km of drainage, 2,000m³ of concrete foundations, walls and slabs, traffic management and extensive hard landscaping. Despite numerous obstacles PP Construction were able to handover the project on time and on budget.
